OUR ITINERARY TO Aegean GREECE with cruise itinerary:

DAY 1 - BOSTON- INT. CITY-ATHENS: Depart Boston’s Logan Airport on our transatlantic flight to Athens (via an intermediate city). Full meal and beverage service, as well as complimentary headsets, is available aloft.

DAY 2 - ATHENS: Upon arrival in Athens, we will board our private motorcoach for transfer to our hotel for check-in. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to familiarize ourselves with our surroundings. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. (D)

DAY 3 - ATHENS: Breakfast at our hotel. Full day guided sightseeing tour of some of the most important and historic sites in Athens, including a visit the magnificent Acropolis. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

DAY 4 - DELPHI: Breakfast at our hotel. Board our motorcoach for a scenic morning drive to the most important religious sanctuary in Ancient Greece - Delphi! Located on the southern slope of Mount Parnassus, Delphi was dedicated to the worship of the god Apollo and residence of the famous Oracle of Delphi. Our full-day tour will include these and many other famous and historic landmarks in Delphi. Return to our hotel in Athens for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

DAY 5 - athens-piraeus-cruise ship: Following breakfast and hotel check-out, we will board our motorcoach for the short drive to the port of Piraeus, where we will board our cruise ship. Depart Piraeus. Lunch onboard. Our first port-of-call is on the mountainous island of Mykonos, which is particularly known for its characteristic windmills and dazzling white-washed houses. Wander through the narrow, winding streets lined with trendy boutiques and friendly tavernas. Return to our ship for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 6 - kusadasi-patmos: Breakfast onboard. Our first stop on today's agenda is in Kusadasi, Turkey, with a chance to visit the nearby Greek, roman and Byzantine excavations of Ephesus. Our next port-of-call is on the tiny island of Patmos, where St. John the Divine is said to have written The Revelation. The11th century monastery, known for its rare manuscript collection, is well worth a visit. Return to our ship for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 7 - RHODES: Breakfast onboard. Spend the entire day exploring the sun-drench island of Rhodes! Experience the historic Old City with its Medieval ramparts and palaces built by the Knights of St. John during the crusades. As an alternative, Rhodes' spectacular beaches and colorful shopping district are within easy walking distance of the harbor. Return to our ship for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 8 - crete-santorini: breakfast onboard. Morning port-of-call on Crete, the historic Greek island made famous in Homer's epic poems. Heraklion, the capital of Crete and its principal commercial port, is just three miles away from the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 by Sir Arthur Evans and partially reconstructed, the elaborate was the seat of ancient Minoan culture. The Archaeological Museum in Heraklion displays many of the treasures found during the excavations. Afternoon visit to Santorini, the "Black Pearl of the Aegean" and possibly the most beautiful of all the Greek islands. Return to our ship for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 9 - piraeus-athens: Breakfast onboard. Arrive in the port of Piraeus and disembark the ship. Continue-on to Athens for check-in at our hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Athens on our own, do some shopping, or just relax. Dinner and overnight. (B, D)

DAY 10: ATHENS-intermediate city-BOSTON: After breakfast, we will be transported to the airport where we will board our return flight to Boston (via an intermediate city) with full meal and beverage service, as well as Full headsets, is available aloft. (B)
