March 22- Each
year, we promote to our groups February school vacation week trips, and in 2006,
we’ll have February 17t and 18th evening departures for 7-night
stays including Rome, Florence, Venice; Sorrento, Italy; Taormina,

departures to Spain, Portugal, England or France
upon request, but would need to have these requests as soon as possible from you

March 2- Our partner Delta
Vacations has a "Free Nights in Florida" specials
to various cities, including Ft. Lauderdale, Key West,
Naples/Bonita Springs/Marco Island; Tampa; West
Palm Beach, and at various hotels in and around Orlando.
In some situations, pay for 3, and it's the 4-night free, and in others, it's
the 5th or 6th night free. A few of these specials are only available
through the latter part of March, but many are available right through until
Dec. 15, 2005. They also have specials for Alamo rental cars, and great
airfares into these cities as well!
March 1- Carnival Cruise Lines will
hold a 1-day sale this Thursday, March 3rd. This promotion will offer
a free 2-category upgrade on most ships and sail dates in 2005 through
Dec. 17, 2005.
You will have to be prepared to place a deposit down with the
cruise line on that day. Call on Wednesday to discuss ships and itineraries to
identify the cruise you may wish to take. Note that this 2-category upgrade is
available within like cabin categories (interior to interior upgrade;
oceanview to oceanview, and balcony to balcony). The upgrades are available
in Cat. 4A through 8I. A few vessels are limited to a one category oceanview
upgrade, and the upgrade is not available on Carnival "Spirit",
"Pride", "Legend" or "Miracle",

and service. As an example, Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean are
trying to stop the practice that leaves loads of passengers bitter after finding
out they paid a lot more than their neighbor on board. Carnival took the lead,
and beginning this Jan. 1st, we’ve been advised that any agency
that advertised non-approved rates for its cruises will be banned from selling
Carnival Cruises! Royal Caribbean, who also owns Celebrity Cruises, has followed
this by not only stopping the advertising of non-approved rates, but also
selling either RCCL or Celebrity cruises for less than the published prices.
These changes should make shopping for a cruise a lot simpler. You’ll find a
consistent price wherever you look. That price may change from day to day
because of availability and other factors, but at least consumers don’t have
to endure endless shopping marathons! While rebating may be off the table,
